Product detailed description
All-Season Merino Wool Sleeping Bag 60 cm for Little Ones
With a small baby, the last thing you want during the night is to keep checking where their blanket has ended up. A 60 cm Merino wool sleeping bag moves together with your baby and provides a comfortable sleeping environment without the need for a loose blanket.
On the inside, we use a soft Merino wool knit, chosen for its natural ability to help manage temperature and excess moisture. The outer layer is made from 100% cotton in a warm brown shade with a playful pattern of white sheep.
The sleeping bag has a TOG rating of 0.67 and is suitable for room temperatures of approximately 19–25 °C. Clothing underneath can be adjusted according to the actual room temperature and your baby's individual needs.
Why do we use Merino wool on the inside?
Merino wool is often associated mainly with keeping warm in winter, but that is only part of what makes it useful for sleep. It can also help manage excess moisture and support comfortable temperature regulation around the body.
The aim is therefore not to make your baby as warm as possible. The Merino layer is there to help create a comfortable microclimate while sleeping, even as body and room temperatures change during the night.
- helps support natural temperature regulation,
- helps manage excess moisture,
- is breathable,
- the soft knit feels pleasant to the touch,
- Merino wool naturally helps reduce the build-up of unpleasant odours.
How to choose the right 60 cm sleeping bag size
When choosing a baby sleeping bag, age or total body height alone is not enough. A 60 cm sleeping bag is not necessarily intended for a baby who is 60 cm tall. Your baby's head remains outside the sleeping bag, so the measurements are not directly comparable.
We recommend measuring your baby from the shoulders to the feet. There should be enough room at the bottom for natural leg movement, while the sleeping bag should fit properly around the neckline and armholes.
If you are choosing your baby's first sleeping bag or are unsure about the correct length, read our guide on how to choose the right sleeping bag size. It explains how to measure your child and why choosing by age alone can be misleading.

Room for little legs to move
A sleeping bag should not wrap your baby tightly or restrict natural movement. The wider lower section provides room to bend, stretch and move their legs comfortably while sleeping.
At the same time, a correctly chosen size should fit properly around the upper body. This is why we do not recommend buying a sleeping bag that is unnecessarily large simply so your baby can “grow into it”.
A two-way zipper makes night-time changes easier
With little ones, nappy changes are often part of the night-time routine. The practical two-way zipper allows you to open the lower part of the sleeping bag without having to take your baby completely out of it.
It may seem like a small construction detail, but it can make everyday use much more convenient.
How to care for a Merino wool sleeping bag
Merino wool does not need to be washed automatically after every use. If the sleeping bag is not dirty, thorough airing is often all it needs.
When washing is necessary, use a wool programme at a maximum of 30 °C. Choose a detergent suitable for wool, use a low spin speed and avoid fabric softener. Always follow the care instructions on the product label.

From a first sleeping bag to larger sizes
When children start sleeping in a sleeping bag from an early age, it can gradually become a familiar part of their bedtime routine. From our experience making children's sleeping bags, we know that some children want to continue sleeping this way long after they have outgrown the smallest sizes.
Starting with a properly fitting size and moving to longer sleeping bags as your child grows allows them to gain the extra space they need without changing a way of sleeping they already know and enjoy.
Frequently asked questions about the 60 cm Merino sleeping bag
What size baby is a 60 cm sleeping bag suitable for?
We recommend choosing the size according to your baby's shoulder-to-feet measurement rather than age or total height alone. There should be enough room for natural leg movement while the neckline and armholes fit properly.
Should I buy a larger sleeping bag so my baby can grow into it?
We do not recommend choosing an unnecessarily large size simply to make it last longer. A sleeping bag needs to fit correctly around the neckline and armholes, so the size should be chosen according to your baby's current measurements.
Is a Merino sleeping bag only suitable for winter?
No. This is an all-season sleeping bag with a TOG rating of 0.67. We use Merino not only for its insulating properties but also for its ability to manage moisture and support comfortable temperature regulation.
What should my baby wear underneath the sleeping bag?
This depends on the actual room temperature and your baby's individual needs. The sleeping bag is suitable for room temperatures of approximately 19–25 °C, and the clothing layers underneath can be adjusted accordingly.
Do I need to wash a Merino sleeping bag frequently?
No. If it is not dirty, airing the sleeping bag thoroughly is often sufficient. When washing is necessary, use a wool programme at a maximum of 30 °C, a suitable wool detergent, a low spin speed and no fabric softener.
Where is the sleeping bag made?
Our sleeping bags are designed and made in the Czech Republic.
